A midcentury Danish rosewood home bar by Dyrlund, designed as a compact freestanding drinks cabinet with a concealed serving surface. The cabinet has four front doors with strongly figured rosewood veneers, small circular metal pulls and a darker plinth base set on castors for easier positioning. The top opens out to both sides, creating extended preparation or serving surfaces while keeping the piece neat and rectilinear when closed.
The interior is arranged for practical bar storage, with open compartments, shelving, a metal ice bucket and contrasting dark serving surfaces. The central section provides space for bottles and glassware, while the side cabinet offers additional storage for accessories. The mix of richly grained timber, flush doors and functional detailing is typical of Danish midcentury furniture, where clean external lines conceal highly considered use inside. A useful vintage cocktail cabinet for a sitting room, dining space or entertaining area, with the scale and flexibility to work as both storage and occasional serving furniture.
