An original example of the EA 116 chair from the Aluminium Group series, designed in 1958. This version features a high back with horizontal upholstery channels in tan hopsack fabric, and cast aluminium frame with black lacquered armrests. The chair is mounted on a four-star swivel base with glides and is marked with the Herman Miller logo and model number beneath the arm.
