A midcentury Danish armchair designed by Kristian Vedel in 1963, constructed with a rosewood frame and suspended black leather cushions. The design features four slender turned uprights with rounded finial caps, between which the leather backrest and arm supports are tensioned, creating the chair’s distinctive floating form. A deep leather seat cushion rests within the square rosewood frame, highlighting the contrast between the rich timber grain and supple leather. The minimalist structure reflects the sculptural restraint of Danish modern design.
